She looked amazing in her dress holding her bouquet of white flowers, and of course Dominic looked handsome in his suit and bow tie! The reception was a short walk from the ceremony and was located at a beautiful and intimate outdoor venue. The wedding ceremony in Santa Maria was absolutely beautiful, just as Alison had imagined. When Dominic proposed to Alison on Christmas Eve, she immediately knew where the wedding would be…Rome! What a dream come true! They went inside for a Sunday Mass, and ever since she wanted to get married in that very Church. Four years later, Isabella ready to graduate high school and Dominic a student at Penn State, they reconnected through social media. He walked into her class every day with a few friends to talk with the teacher but he was in a relationship and an upperclassman. Towards the end of her stay, her family came across Santa Maria Basilica, a beautiful Church in the heart of Trastevere, with a gorgeous interior and so much character and history. Isabella had a crush on Dominic when she was a Freshman and he was a junior. The couple met in 2009 while they were both in University, and have been together ever since. Back in 2010 Alison spent a week in Rome with her family and fell in love with the city, particularly Trastevere. Rome was a particularly special wedding destination for our British couple, Alison and Dominic! Alison, originally from South Africa, moved to the UK at the age of 14. They now reside in Leeds, where Dominic was born and raised.
